Ludo
The family favorite dice race. Roll, move, capture, and be the first to bring all four tokens home.
How to play Ludo
- Goal: be the first to move all four of your tokens around the board and into your home in the middle.
- Roll the dice by tapping it. You need a 6 to bring a token out onto the board.
- Move a token by tapping one of the glowing tokens. If only one move is possible, it moves by itself.
- Roll again after a 6, after capturing a token, or after getting a token home. Three 6s in a row ends your turn.
- Capture by landing on an opponent’s token: it goes back to its start. Squares with a star, and each colored starting square, are safe.
- Exact roll: a token needs the exact number to land in the home in the middle.
Tips
- Get more than one token out early so you always have a choice of moves.
- Rest on star squares when an opponent is close behind you.
- Don’t rush one token home while the others wait in the start area.
- A token 1 to 6 squares in front of an opponent is in danger.
